Meg's Bucket List

I've thought about this often, but never truly created one.  (I've even gone so far as to give my seniors a writing prompt every Thursday morning where they add to their bucket lists, but I myself have not physically ever written down a plan!)  Therefore, after seeing my dear friend Sara feature hers on her blog, along with some excited sleuthing and figuring out that I *can* add pages to my blog, I've decided to create my Bucket List here.

It may seem strange for this to be featured on Baby H's blog, but I don't think it's strange at all when having a child is part of this very list!  So, here goes. : )

  • Raise a child (God willing, within the next couple of weeks and for a lifetime!)
  • Write a book
  • Learn how to run (Spring of 2010 into Summer 2010:Couch to 5K Training Plan)
  • Finish a 5K Run (Women's 5K Classic, Allentown, PA: October 16, 2010)
  • Marry the man of my dreams (August 8, 2009)
  • Become a HS English Teacher (Career began in August of 2006)
  • Become a college professor
  • Have a role in a play (BHS, Fall of 2007)
  • Live on a lake or the ocean, at least for part of the year
  • Get my Master's degree
  • Own a Pug (stepmother of Bagle Hauser)
  • Meet Dave Matthews (failed attempt hardly worth giving details about...)
  • Take my mom on vacation (Half crossed out because I hope to do so again- but Inner Harbor, MD Summer of 2010 is worth noting here!)
  • Travel overseas (Stuttgart, Germany: Summer of 2008)
  • Visit London, England in all of its literary majesty
  • Visit the first Starbucks in Seattle, Washington
  • Live in Rochester, NY again
  • Visit Minnesota (Yes, okay, I would like to see all of the states but some have priority over others)
  • Learn how to play the acoustic guitar (Okay, so I can't exactly pick up a six-string and make music happen, but those college lessons of progress have to count for something!)
  • Learn how to ski
  • Learn how to water ski (Jessi's cottage on Goose Pond, summer of???? )
  • Go parasailing
  • Read all of the Harry Potters
  • Travel somewhere where I have to use my Spanish speaking skills and hopefully become better at them for it!
  • Take another math course or at least reteach myself some skills
  • Take a cooking class
  • Eat pizza in Italy
  • Visit Paris, France and purchase some toile
  • Practice yoga (Easton Yoga Studio)
  • Join a Moms Club
